An Overview
This course meets the training requirement for initial certification as Environmental Management Systems (EMS) Auditor/Lead Auditor
This course shall provide participants with the knowledge and skills needed to perform their role as fully trained Lead Auditor Environmental Management Systems against ISO 14001:2015.
The course includes the 2-stage audit approach for certification of EMS as per ISO 17021-1
This course is aligned with ISO 19011:2018, the guidelines on auditing

Background knowledge of audits and the audit process in accordance with ISO 19011:2018 and ISO 17021-1
The relevant skills, knowledge, and confidence to plan, coordinate, carry out, report, and follow-up on 1st, 2nd and 3rd party environmental management systems (EMS) audits in conformity with ISO 14001:2015
The experience of the various stages of the audit through role-plays; assignments; auditing exercises based on case study manual, and/or participating in “live audit” exercise at an actual facility.
